I am based at the Oxford Community Health Hub, in the West Oxford Community Centre, on Botley Road
I have a BSc (Hons) degree in Acupuncture, awarded by the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. I am also a member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC) as well having a Licentiate in Acupuncture (LicAc). I am trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as well as 5 Element, integrating both in my treatments.
Prior to becoming an Acupuncturist I had already trained as a Massage Therapist in the US, successfully applying my skills here in Oxford, with a significant emphasis on Trigger Point and Myofascial release, based at the wonderful Iffley Turn Practice in Iffley. This knowledge continues to inform my Acupuncture treatments, helping particularly with musculoskeletal conditions.
Although I find Massage to be a fantastic tool for health, I find Acupuncture can help with well-being just as much, if not more. I feel strongly that health is something which has to be nurtured, and in today’s society of rushing and needing to do more and more, our health can often take a toll. My mission is to help people, and help them find a better connection to themselves, through Acupuncture and other lifestyle tools.
If you are interested in Massage Therapy, I offer treatments at the Iffley Turn Practice, which offers a variety of fantastic therapies and therapists in Oxford. Contact them here to arrange.
